On the occasion of the exhibition Horizon-Summit-Horizon, a bi-personal dialogue between artists Giovanna Caimmi and Francesca Dondoglio, the gallery will inaugurate a new project. Link Room - Office Project Space utilizes the office spaces, adapted for the occasion, to offer a corresponding, albeit altered, interpretation of the ongoing exhibition. It is born with the aim of deepening the understanding of artists operating in Bologna, whose production, or part of it, may align with the gallery's research and engage directly with the exhibitions that will fill the venue spaces from time to time. The first piece will be a journey through imaginary, introspective, and real landscapes, presented by three artists who have already exhibited at our venue in previous shows. Two native Bolognese, born in 1963, who have often made the landscape a fundamental aspect of their research, namely Maurizio Bottarelli and Alberto Colliva, and the Bolognese by adoption, born in 1991, Claudio Valerio. In Alberto Colliva's imaginary, man becomes landscape, and the face, a hidden self-portrait of the artist, emerges or sinks into the abyss in which he finds himself living. Introspective, on the other hand, is Claudio Valerio's new series, in which he temporarily abandons the search for a more or less stable form to create a space in which this form can dwell. Finally, stemming from the observation of reality, Maurizio Bottarelli's works capture the sublime of Ayers Rock or follow the forms of wood to unveil its hidden landscape.
