Work in progress: Studio la Linea Verticale turns three On Friday, May 23, from 5 to 9 PM, we’re celebrating three years of activity with Work in Progress: for its third birthday, Studio la Linea Verticale invites everyone – artists, friends, and the public – to take part in an event that is at once a celebration, a collective performance, and an exhibition. Abstract The gallery walls stand bare, ready to welcome an installation that will take shape in the moment, with no script and no hierarchy. An open, diverse selection of artists – including long-time collaborators and independent voices from the Bologna and Italian art scenes – is invited to bring a work and install it freely, in dialogue with the space and the other pieces, creating a spontaneous, evolving visual composition. The audience is invited to watch - or even join in – this real-time process: a collective setup that becomes a gesture of trust, openness, and celebration. Because yes, it is a party – a warm, informal celebration of three years of activity, genuine collaborations, shared moments, and daily work around art and its relationships. On May 23, from 5:00 to 9:00 PM, the space will be open to anyone who wants to join: for a toast, a chat, to explore, lend a hand, or simply drop by to say hello. There will be an aperitivo, of course. And there will be the energy of a birthday imagined not as a finish line, but as a Work in Progress. The exhibition born during the evening will remain on view until June 10, 2025.
